Philip Onyango has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Philip began their career as a Software Developer at Brimsi Inc in 2014, where they developed the Brimsi social networking application using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Philip played a key role in researching, developing, and optimizing the frontend, backend, and database of the application.
In 2018, Philip joined Comex Ceramics as a System Administrator, where they took on various responsibilities such as software development, database design and administration, network installation and security, and digital marketing. Philip designed and developed a MySQL database for storing company products and user data, created a PHP Core backend for managing product and authentication data, and revamped the company website.
Philip then moved on to Rolling Cargo in 2019 as a Software Developer. Here, they focused on web development using PHP and JavaScript, database design and development using MySQL, and system optimization. Philip successfully created and fixed the company website, optimized the database schemas, and modularized the backend codebase.
In 2020, Philip joined Codeshares as a Software Engineer. In this role, they played a key role as the lead frontend developer in a team of four engineers. Philip developed a VueJS SeatingApp application that allowed event organizers to design seating charts for venues and implemented a ticket reservation application. Philip used their skills in VueJS and appropriate graphical tools to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.
Since 2021, Philip has been working at SovTech as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Philip'sresponsibilities include designing and developing robust software applications and systems to meet clients' enterprise and corporate needs. Philip is currently working with a team of experienced software engineers to develop an online shopping and delivery service called OneCart ZA.

Philip Onyango completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Business Computing and Information Systems at the University of Central Lancashire from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microprocessor Technology and Instrumentation from the University of Nairobi, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Philip attended the University of Nairobi for a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree, although the specific dates for this degree are not provided.
