Andy Vidan has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Andy started their career as a Research Physicist at the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center in 2005. Andy then moved on to MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where they worked as a Member of Technical Staff from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they held the position of Associate Technology Officer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they became the CEO of Composable Analytics, Inc., a company that specializes in building software for managing data. In 2020, they co-founded Scrypt AI, a venture that focuses on introducing cognitive automation to payment processing solutions in partnership with CheckAlt. Andy Vidan's expertise lies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data strategy.
Andy Vidan completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Physics at Cornell University from 1997 to 2001. Andy then pursued higher education at Harvard University, where they earned a Master of Science (SM) degree in Applied Physics from 2001 to 2002. Andy continued their studies at Harvard University and obtained a PhD in Applied Physics, completing their doctoral program from 2001 to 2006. Later, in 2011 and 2012, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and obtained an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership.
