Daniel Dietch

Daniel Dietch serves as Project Director, Office Manager, and Vice President at SCS Engineers since December 2018, contributing to sustainable environmental solutions as part of an employee-owned firm. Additionally, Daniel has held roles as a Board Member for the CLEO Institute and the Clean Energy Coastal Corridor, focusing on climate change awareness and renewable energy financing, respectively. As an Advisory Board Member of the American Flood Coalition, advocacy for national solutions to sea level rise and flooding is prioritized. Daniel also served as Mayor of Surfside from March 2010 to March 2020, overseeing community development in a vibrant coastal town. Previous experience includes positions at Jacobs and Malcolm Pirnie, alongside participatory roles in initiatives seeking resilience against climate challenges. Education includes a Master's in Environmental Management from Cornell University and a Master's in Management from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
