Yuri Hendrix has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2022. From 2005 to 2014, they worked as a Keukenhulp at Het Theehuis Panoramahoeve B.V. In 2014, they completed an internship at DSM. From 2015 to 2020, Yuri pursued their PhD at TU/e, focusing on the photocatalytic abatement of nitrogen oxide pollution. During this time, they gained skills in analysis, problem-solving, experiment design, and reporting complex matters. Yuri also mentored junior colleagues and students and collaborated with international colleagues. In 2020, Yuri worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiteit van Amsterdam until 2021. Yuri then joined Estonian University of Life Sciences as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow from 2022 to November 2022. Currently, Yuri holds the position of R&D engineer/Material scientist at SCW Systems starting from November 2022.
Yuri Hendrix earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University between the years 2007 and 2012. Subsequently, between 2012 and 2014, Yuri pursued a Master's degree in Nanomaterials, specializing in Chemistry and Physics, at Utrecht University.
