Lazar

Lazar is currently a Compliance Success Manager at Scytale. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Security Consultant with CyberAccord from June 2021 to December 2021. There, they worked on security compliance for SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, as well as security consulting for gap analysis, risk assessments, user access reviews, internal audits, and policy creation. Before that, Lazar was an Information Security Officer with Raiffeisen banka a.d. Beograd from March 2021 to June 2022. There, they kept up to date with the latest security and technology developments; researched and evaluated emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them; monitored for attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity; tested and evaluated security products; designed new security systems or upgraded existing ones; used advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities; engaged in 'ethical hacking', for example, simulating security breaches; identified potential weaknesses and implemented measures, such as firewalls and encryption; investigated security alerts and provided incident response; monitored identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users; liaised with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provided future recommendations; generated reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders; maintained an information security risk register and assisted with internal and external audits relating to information security; monitored and responded to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity; assisted with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues; and gave advice and guidance to staff on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails.

Lazar has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Visoka škola strukovnih studija za informacione tehnologije – ITS. Lazar also has certification from Charles Sturt University in Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA). Furthermore, Lazar has certification from Network Development Group in NDG Linux Unhatched. Lastly, they have certification from Cisco in Cybersecurity Essentials and Introduction to Cybersecurity.
