Tom de Wit

Tom De Wit has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tom started their career in 2003 as a Leader Youth Mouvement at Scouts 26 Rozenkrans. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at IKEA as a Sales Saturday, and concurrently, as a Student at Plantijnhogeschool. Tom then worked as an Assistant Media Planning & Buying at Schreiner & Van Bokkel Media Services for a brief period in 2007. Later that year, they joined Velocitas as a Junior Business Developer and Group Air Cooling Systems as a Logistic IT. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Payroll Consultant at SD Worx, providing tailor-made solutions for large accounts. Tom then transitioned to the role of Conversation Manager at SD Worx in 2013, alongside their job as a Payroll Consultant. In 2016, they became a BPO Payroll Consultant for large enterprises, specializing in advanced solutions. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Team Leader for Payroll Outsourcing Services at SD Worx, where they focused on optimizing quality and service for customers. Their most recent role at SD Worx was as the Global Service Delivery Manager from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Tom De Wit is serving as the Head of Payroll, International Markets at SD Worx, leading multiple glocal teams and focusing on European markets.

Tom De Wit completed a Master Class in HRM at Antwerp Management School in 2013-2014. Tom also obtained a Certificate in HR Management through home study at NHA / Open Universiteit Nederland in 2008-2009. Tom holds a magna cum laude degree in Communication Management - Commercial Communication from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, which they earned from 2004 to 2007. Tom attended Sint-Ursula Instituut te Wilrijk from 1997 to 2003, where they studied modern languages and science. Additionally, Tom has gained further education and experience in HR through SD Worx. Tom has also self-studied through books, focusing on reading and development.
