Arnold Lim

Arnold Lim has extensive experience in the finance industry. Arnold started their career as an Actuarial Professional at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad in 2009 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they served as the Manager of Structured Finance and Mezzanine Capital at AmInvestment Bank Berhad in Malaysia. In 2018, they joined Minterest Money Pte Ltd as an Associate Director of Group Projects, where they successfully initiated overseas expansion in Vietnam and started a retail payments business in Singapore. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Consumer Finance at Minterest Money Pte Ltd, where they have grown the retail loan business from startup to a S$5 million loan business in just two years. Arnold is responsible for all aspects of the business and daily operations, including business planning, budgeting, credit policy, underwriting and approval, disbursement and collections, research and analytics, business development and partnerships, technology development, regulations and compliance, recruitment and retention.

Arnold Lim obtained a Bachelor of Applied Finance with Bachelor of Commerce - Actuarial Studies degree from Macquarie University in the field of Actuarial Science between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they qualified for the Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2014.
