Derek Tracy

Derek Tracy is an experienced compositor and visual effects artist with a background in leading teams and creating high-quality visuals for film and advertising. Notable positions include Assistant Lead Compositor at Stereo D, where responsibilities encompassed managing a team of compositing artists for major projects such as "War For The Planet Of The Apes" and "Spiderman: Homecoming." Additional roles at various companies include Senior Stereo Depth Compositor, Lead Compositor, and Freelance Compositor, with significant contributions to films like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "The BFG," and "Terminator 2 3D." Derek co-founded FULL-BEARD Collective, a freelance production company, and holds a BA in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
