Amanda Denham has extensive work experience in both the public and retail sectors. Amanda has been with the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) since 2013, starting as an Executive Assistant to the COO. Amanda then moved up to become the Manager of Support Services before assuming their current role as the Director of Support Services.
Prior to MTS, Amanda worked at Nordstrom for nearly a decade. Amanda'sroles at Nordstrom included Sales Associate, Salon Shoes Department Manager/Assistant Manager, and various positions in human resources, including Interim Human Resource Manager, Assistant Human Resource Manager, and Human Resource Assistant. Amanda also held roles as Sales Integration Manager and Sales Information Manager during their time at Nordstrom.
Amanda Denham completed their education at San Diego State University, where they earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of San Diego from 2003 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology and Political Science.
