Ad van Doesum

Ad van Doesum is a Justice at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and a professor of Value Added Tax at Maastricht University, where they teach VAT Law and conduct research on indirect taxes. Ad has extensive experience in indirect tax consultancy, having held positions at PwC Netherlands and Ernst & Young Tax Advisers. Currently, they lead the Knowledge Centre at PwC Netherlands, focusing on delivering timely insights and technological solutions for tax professionals. Ad also serves as a judge at the Court of First Instance in The Hague and has held board roles in various tax-related organizations, contributing to the field through thought leadership and legal opinions.
