Frans van der Loo

Frans van der Loo is a seasoned legal advisor specializing in various areas of law including environmental law, administrative law, spatial planning law, construction law, environmental protection law, nature conservation law, administrative procedural law, infrastructure law, expropriation law, land consolidation law, real estate law, water legislation, water management law, compensation law, and legal project management. Since January 2005, Frans has been working with F van der Loo Juridisch Advies & Rechtspraktijk and Juridisch Adviesbureau Van der Loo B.V. in the capacity of legal advisor. Additionally, Frans serves as the Vakredacteur and author for the Real Estate Law department on the Opmaat and Milieu website at Sdu, where editorial roles in various scientific journals have been held. From 2018 to 2024, Frans contributed as a partner and legal expert in administrative law at Forward Advocaten and previously held significant positions in legal affairs at Rijkswaterstaat from 1973 to 2005. Frans earned a Master's degree in Dutch law from Universiteit Utrecht (1975 - 1983).
