Michael Boland earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing from McMaster University, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Afterwards, they pursued further education and completed an MBA degree in Marketing at the University of Hartford, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In 2012, Michael also obtained a Mini MBA in Digital Marketing from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, with a focus on Digital and Social Media Marketing.
