Jex Li

Jex Li serves as the Head of Business Development and Investment for Garena in China since April 2021, focusing on investment, game licensing, and strategic partnerships. Jex also holds the position of Head of Business Development and Investment at Sea beginning in May 2021. Prior to these roles, Jex was a Venture Partner at Griffin Gaming Partners from April 2021 to April 2022 and spent nearly a decade at Tencent from February 2012 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading the first local business development team in India and South Asia and facilitating significant investments in emerging markets. Jex's prior experience also includes roles as Senior Manager in Global Business Development and Strategy Analyst at Tencent and participation in GE's Commercial Leadership Program. Jex Li earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechatronics from East China University of Science and Technology.
