Joel C. is a Security Engineer at Sea since June 2021, specializing in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), vulnerability management, and security operation automation. Joel has effectively discovered new attack surfaces and mitigated critical vulnerabilities across various products, including Shopee and SeaMoney, while managing a bug bounty program and enhancing internal security workflows. An accomplished security researcher, Joel led a team at SpiritCyber 2024, achieving a notable second place in overall bounty earned. Prior experiences include an internship at the National Cybersecurity R&D Lab, a role as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the National University of Singapore, and involvement with the NUS Fintech Society's DevOps team.
