Robert Williams

Robert Williams is currently the Legal Director of Intellectual Property at Sea, a position held since October 2021, and also serves as Legal Counsel. Prior to this role, Robert was a Special Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP from October 2008 to October 2021, advising global technology leaders on diverse legal issues, primarily focused on intellectual property. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as a board member of the Intellectual Property Executive Committee for The Bar Association of San Francisco and as an attorney at Heller Ehrman. Robert completed a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Intellectual Property Law at Columbia Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
