Sara Mattern

Sara Mattern is a Partner at Foley Hoag LLP, where they co-chair the Emerging Company and Venture Capital Practice and contribute to project finance in renewable energy. They have served on the advisory boards of Greentown Labs and SeaAhead since 2018 and 2020, respectively. Sara previously worked as an Associate and Summer Associate at Foley Hoag LLP from 2014 to 2021. They hold a Doctor of Law (J.D.), cum laude, from Boston College Law School and a BSFS in International Politics, cum laude, from Georgetown University. Sara started their career with various internships, including roles at the U.S. Department of Energy and the United States Senate.
