Goran Misic

Goran Misic has over 15 years of experience in the drilling and automation industries. Currently serving as Rig Manager at Seadrill since September 2012, Goran is responsible for managing safe and efficient operations on the West Gemini Rig in Angola while maximizing shareholder value through strategic decision-making and team leadership. Prior roles at Seadrill include Rig Leader and Technical Section Leader, and Goran also served as a Senior Electrician, focusing on the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment onboard drilling rigs. Before joining Seadrill, Goran worked as a Senior Electrician at JDC from August 2010 to June 2012, and as an Automation Technician at Elektropneumatik from January 2006 to August 2010, where responsibilities included process automation, installation of new plants and CNC machines, and maintenance.
