Jacob Waters is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in asset management and maintenance planning within the subsea and drilling industries. Currently serving as the Capital Asset (SSCE) Lead at Seadrill since May 2014, Jacob Waters oversees the management of over 1000 high-value assets critical to operations while coordinating asset movements in domestic and international settings. Previous roles include Subsea Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Support Engineer at Seadrill, where responsibilities included planning maintenance for drillships and semi-subs, along with fleet-wide system management. Prior to Seadrill, Jacob Waters served in the US Navy, leading and supervising teams in reactor mechanical systems and nuclear maintenance planning, significantly enhancing operational performance and material readiness. An alumnus of Thomas Edison State University, Jacob Waters holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology, complemented by specialized training at Naval Nuclear Power School and the Nuclear Planners Course.
