James Young has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Director of Subsea & Well Control Equipment at Seadrill since April 2012, with previous roles including Rig Manager and Project Engineer. Prior to Seadrill, James held various positions at Transocean from August 2005 to April 2012, such as Assistant/Subsea Engineer and HR Lead/Coordinator. James holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University (2000-2005) and completed the Program for Leadership Development at IESE Business School in 2017.
