Jesse Goddard

Jesse Goddard is an experienced professional in the drilling industry, currently serving as both Assistant Rig Manager and Drilling Section Leader at Seadrill since February 2006. Responsibilities include managing operations on 6th and 7th Generation Dual Activity Drillships for various multinational and national oil companies, with expertise inManaged Pressure Drilling (MPD) and underbalanced drilling operations. Prior to this role, Jesse worked as a Toolpusher on the West Ceres in Nigeria and Ghana, and on the West Capella, a modern drillship. Earlier experience includes serving as a Derrickhand at Precision Drilling from November 2000 to February 2006, focusing on diesel electric triple landrigs in Western Canada. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, with an expected completion in June 2026.
