John Mathews

John Mathews has extensive experience in the maritime and drilling industries, spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Bosun at Seadrill since March 2012, John Mathews is responsible for first-line maintenance of lifeboats and lifesaving equipment and holds the position of Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO). Prior to this role, John Mathews worked as a Crane Operator-Deck Pusher at Diamond from July 1997 to March 2012, where responsibilities included supervising crane operators and managing deck operations. Earlier positions include Floorman at Sonat/Transocean from April 1993 to July 1997, focusing on drilling operations, and Rst-Crane Operator at ODECO from June 1987 to July 1991. John Mathews completed education at Winnsboro High School from 1981 to 1985.
