Karissa Gilbert

Karissa Gilbert is a strategic and resourceful internal audit professional with extensive experience in operational and financial audits, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley implementations. From 2020 to 2024, they served as the Director of Internal Audit at Landry's, where they built the internal audit department and executed SOX requirements. Prior to that, Karissa held management positions in SOX compliance and corporate audit at DynCorp International and PrimeSource Building Products, respectively, and led internal audit teams at other organizations. Currently, Karissa is the Head of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management at Seadrill, continuing to drive process improvements and risk management initiatives. They earned a BBA and MACC in Accounting from Baylor University in 2003.
