Morne Roos

Morne Roos is an experienced drilling professional currently serving as a Driller at Seadrill since January 2019. With a strong background in Ultra Deep-water wildcat wells, Morne has expertise in running completions, maintaining NOV Cyber systems, and ensuring adherence to well control guidelines. Previously, Morne held roles at Ocean Rig, progressing from Roughneck to Derrickman and Assistant Driller, where responsibilities included supervising drill crews, conducting safety training, and performing equipment maintenance. Morne’s educational qualifications include studies in Higher Education at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and a prior education at Paul Roos Gymnasium.
