Nelson Pedro

Nelson Pedro is an experienced Offshore HSE Advisor at Seadrill since August 2013, specializing in health, safety, and environmental practices in offshore environments while focusing on developing frontline leadership and promoting a sustainable safety culture. Prior to this role, Nelson worked at WesternGeco from December 2008 to July 2013 as a Positioning Seismic Specialist and HSE, where responsibilities included seismic data acquisition and ensuring adherence to safety procedures. Nelson's career began at Oceaneering as an ROV pilot from January 2007 to December 2008. Educational qualifications include a degree in Marine Navigation Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a high school diploma with a focus on Geology, Mineralogy, Crystallography, and Research & Exploration from the Petroleum National Institute.
