Øystein Jensen is currently the Director of QHSE at Seadrill, a position held since 2012. They began their career in the drilling industry as a roustabout and advanced to an assistant driller at Dolphin Drilling from 1980 to 1986. Øystein continued to grow professionally at Smedvig Offshore and Seadrill Offshore, transitioning from roughneck to rig leader between 1987 and 2005, and later serving as a rig manager from 2005 to 2012. Øystein has also pursued education in technical drilling and mechanics at various maritime schools, including Stavanger and Bergen Maritime Schools.
