Richard McConomy

Richard McConomy is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and operational support within the offshore drilling industry. Currently serving as Project Manager - Technology Development at Seadrill since May 2016, Richard has also held positions such as Performance Enhancement Manager and ISIT Strategy Analyst. Prior experience includes roles at Manchester Business School as President of the Energy and Industry Club during an MBA program, and significant operational responsibilities at Transocean, including AFM Operations Support Manager and Rig Manager for the John Shaw installation. Richard holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
