Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt has a diverse work experience in the fields of corporate planning, external reporting, group reporting, and auditing. From 2015 to the present, they have worked at Seadrill, starting as a Consolidations Analyst and progressing to roles such as Group Reporting Analyst, Group Reporting Lead, External Reporting Manager, and currently, Head of External Reporting. In these positions, they have been responsible for the review, consolidation, and filing of financial accounts, as well as preparation of board reporting requirements and financial statements. Prior to their time at Seadrill, Sam worked at EY from 2011 to 2015, initially as an Audit Intern, then an Audit Associate, and ultimately an Audit Senior/Executive. At EY, they primarily focused on clients in the oil and gas sector. Overall, Sam's work experience showcases their expertise in financial reporting and auditing within the oilfield services industry.

Sam Hunt completed high school at Polesworth High School & Tomlinson Hall Sixth Form from 2007 to 2009. Sam then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance at Lancaster University from 2009 to 2013. Afterwards, they obtained a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs from 2010 to 2015, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
