Sean Gallivan

Sean Gallivan has extensive experience in the marine and drilling sectors, currently serving as the Technical Leader for Mechanical Systems at Seadrill since November 2015. Previous roles at Seadrill included positions such as Technical Section Leader and Chief Engineer for various projects, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and subsea departments, and ensuring compliance with maintenance and regulatory standards. Gallivan’s career began at Global Santafe, where foundational engineering roles included managing engine room operations. Education was completed at Maine Maritime Academy from 1994 to 1998.
