Steve Rice is an experienced subsea professional with a career spanning over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Subsea Superintendent at Seadrill Careers since September 2012, responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and modification of subsea equipment and providing technical support across departments. Previously, Steve worked as a Subsea Supervisor, contributing to newbuild drillship projects, and held various subsea engineering roles at Transocean, including involvement in commissioning and operational phases of ultra-deepwater drillships. Prior to this, experience as Aftersales Technical Director and Manager at AM Ltd and Macrae and Dick respectively involved managing technical operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Steve holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Inverness Technical College.
