Jan Cherim is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in managing and developing investment strategies in emerging markets. Currently serving as Vice Chairman for Europe & Africa and Managing Director at SEAF since September 2009, Jan Cherim focuses on debt facilities, advisory, and business development at the EU hub in Amsterdam. Prior to this, Jan Cherim was a Managing Partner at Financial Access Capital Partners, starting in December 2006, following a notable tenure at ING Commercial Banking from January 1990 to November 2006 as a Managing Director and member of the Management Committee. Jan Cherim has also held key roles at ING Barings, UBS Investment Bank, and The World Bank. Academic credentials include advanced degrees in International Economics and Social Anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University and The London School of Economics.
