Marco Dijkstra

Chief Engineer at Seafox

Marco Dijkstra has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco started their career in 1996 as a Mechanic armored and wheeled vehicles for the Ministerie van Defensie. Marco then worked at Rederij Doeksen B.V., where they held various roles such as Seaman, 2e WTK (second engineer), and HWTK (chief engineer). In 2013, they joined RedWave as an assistant engineer and later became a Mechanic. Currently, they are working at Seafox as a Chief engineer, a position they assumed in 2015.

Marco Dijkstra attended Nautisch college Den Helder from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in SMBW. Marco then pursued further education at the same college from 2008 to 2009, completing a degree in SWTK. Additionally, Marco obtained certifications in Basic Safety STCW'95, Marcom B, and Radar Observer in various years.
