Angela Stephen is currently a PhD student at the University of Bristol, where they are conducting research on "FIB implantation of photonic structures." They previously served as a Student Course Representative at the University of Bristol and worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Seagate Technology since 2025. Angela concluded a Master’s project with Airbus in 2021 focused on developing efficient quantum sources and detectors for secure satellite communication. Moreover, they gained experience as a part-time Optical Systems Engineer Intern at Lumentum from 2022 to 2023 and completed their undergraduate studies at SRM IST Chennai from 2016 to 2020.
