Bernie McDermott is the Director of Environment, Health & Safety at Seagate Technology, where they served in various roles from 1998 to 2018, including Environment, Health and Safety Manager and Environmental Health Safety Engineer. Prior to this, Bernie worked as an Occupational Hygienist for the Eastern Health Board/Royal Group of Hospitals in Belfast from 1992 to 1996. Bernie holds a MSc in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD in Biochemistry, along with a BSc Hons in Biomedical Science, both obtained from Ulster University.
