Ed Gage is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data storage technology. Since January 2003, Ed Gage has served as Vice President of the Seagate Research Group and Chief Technologist at Seagate Technology, where leadership is provided for the development of future data storage technologies. Prior to this role, Ed Gage held positions including Principal Technologist at Seagate, responsible for future hard disk drive technology programs, and Research Director at ADC Telecommunications from 2000 to 2002. Earlier in the career, Ed Gage held various roles at Seagate Technology from March 1997 to November 2000, including APIC Director, Director, and Sr Manager, and worked at Eastman Kodak as a Research Scientist from 1989 to 1997. Ed Gage earned a degree from the University of Rochester between 1983 and 1989.
