Maxwell Telmer

Maxwell Telmer is a Sr Development Engineer at Seagate Technology, where they focus on wafer process engineering for HAMR hard drives, particularly in CMP process development of plasmonic devices. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where they also completed a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering. Previously, Maxwell worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at CMU, conducting various experiments on ceramic thin films and biosensors. They interned at the Air Force Research Laboratory and contributed to notable publications in scientific journals.
