Rory Chen

Rory Chen is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Application Engineering at Seagate Technology since December 2016, overseeing the C3 lab and managing the application engineering team in China. Prior roles at Seagate include Senior Engineering Manager, where focus was on enterprise HDD/SSD products and technical support for customer applications, and Senior Staff Application Engineer, responsible for leading the Cloud application engineering team. Previous experience includes a role as Staff Software Engineer at 欧普照明, developing embedded software for intelligent control, and Senior Firmware Team Leader at 希捷科技, where responsibilities included releasing enterprise HDD firmware. Rory Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Suzhou University of Science and Technology.
