Sean Dykstra

Sean Dykstra is the Engineering Director of the Seagate Research Group, where they coordinate up to 22 direct reports across various research functions related to storage and contribute to the Open Source community. With a background in developing multi-threaded cross-platform applications, they previously served as a Principal Engineer at Seagate, where they developed the STX/SeaScript scripting language for hard drive testing. Sean's earlier career includes roles at Maxtor and ITT Technical Institute, where they taught courses in programming and served in various engineering capacities. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
