Sofian M Daud

Sofian M Daud is a Senior Engineer in Process Development at Seagate Technology, where they have worked since 2008, specializing in process optimization and new product life cycle management for Personal and Nearline drive products. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Fellow at A-STAR, focusing on phase change materials for data storage and supervising student projects. Sofian began their career as an Engineer at Tech Semiconductor, managing equipment technicians and overseeing cost-saving initiatives. They hold a PhD in Bio-Molecular Electronics from Newcastle University and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
