Tom Calihan

Tom Calihan has over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in hard disc drive vibration engineering for enterprise capacity products. Tom currently holds the title of Principal Engineer at Seagate Technology, where Tom leads the development of product design requirements and test plans. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Seagate and as a Staff Engineer & Manager at Maxtor. Tom began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at LASP, University of Colorado, where Tom participated in NASA-funded projects related to impacts in space. Tom holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
