Tim Carter

Tim Carter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global purchasing and military leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Purchasing at Sealed Air Corporation since 2015, Carter oversees a global direct materials budget of $1.5 billion, having previously held roles including Executive Director of Global Purchasing and Global Purchasing Director for both direct and indirect materials. Carter's procurement expertise spans various categories, managing substantial spends across multiple regions. Prior to entering the corporate sector, Carter held the rank of Major in the Army Special Forces, where responsibilities included directing talent acquisition and leading operational detachments in complex combat situations. Carter holds an M.B.A. from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Akron.
