Sam Swift

Sam Swift has extensive work experience in data and analytics roles. Sam currently serves as the VP of Data at Sealed since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Technology Advisor at Mammoth Climate starting in September 2022. From January 2022 to March 2023, Sam worked as the VP of Data Systems at Arcadia, where they led various data functions. Before that, they worked as an Executive Education Faculty in Negotiation at the American Association for Physician Leadership from September 2014 to December 2022.

Sam also held positions at Bowery Farming, where they served as the VP of Data & AI from April to December 2021, and as the Senior Director of Data & AI from November 2017 to April 2021. In these roles, they played a crucial role in developing the data and analytics capabilities of the company.

Additionally, Sam worked at Betterment as the Director of Analytics & Data Science, and Director of Machine Learning from April 2016 to October 2017. Sam also served as a Data Scientist at Betterment from September 2014 to April 2016. During their tenure, they led a team of data scientists and contributed to the development of smarter technology using machine learning.

Sam Swift's earlier work experience includes being the Lead Data Scientist at the Good Judgment Project from May 2012 to August 2014. Sam also worked as a Visiting Scholar at Fuqua School of Business from June 2012 to July 2014. Furthermore, they started their career as a Software Developer at CM3 Consulting from August 2005 to August 2007 and served as the Lab Director at the Center for Behavioral Decision Research at Carnegie Mellon University from May 2004 to August 2005.

Sam Swift completed a PhD in Organizational Behavior from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, Sam obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision Science, Policy, and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
