Guided by science, driven by purpose, SeaLegacy is the global marketing, education, and communication agency for the ocean. At the nexus of climate action and sustainable solutions, we create strategies and content that instill hope and move audiences into action.

Founded and led by a passionate team of world-class filmmakers, conservationists and photographers, our mission is to use strategic communications at the intersection of art, science, and conservation to protect and rewild the ocean within our lifetimes.

We bring ocean stories and solutions to light for the benefit of biodiversity, humanity, and climate.

Storytelling+ SeaLegacy’s unique ability to transform the narrative:
In our quest to protect and rewild the ocean, SeaLegacy has demonstrated a unique ability to help rewrite the narrative, one conversation at a time. That ability is derived from a simple, yet powerful concept defined by our co-founders Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen, and Andy Mann: Storytelling+; a unique blend of skills, talents, and tools that incorporate our decades-long expertise as marine scientists, documentary filmmakers, and fine art photographers.

Storytelling+ is further strengthened by our tapestry woven with marine and climate experts, philanthropists, investors, local communities, Indigenous leaders, and policymakers from around the world.
