Peter Vuylsteke

Peter Vuylsteke has more than 29 years of work experience. Peter started their career in 1992 at Hapag-Lloyd AG, where they held various roles including Customer Service Documentation, Port & Terminal Operations, Import Customer Service/Operations, Inside Sales - Eastern Hemisphere, Marketing (incl. Global Account Management partner), Management Control, Director Operations Belgium, General Manager Operations Benelux, Director Operations Benelux, Senior Manager Operations Belgium, and Senior Manager Procurement Benelux. In December 2020, they left the company after almost 29 years to embark on a new journey. From February 2021 to December 2022, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at T-Mining - Blockchain Logistics, focusing on decentralized technologies for maritime supply chains and logistics. Since January 2023, they have been the Head of Business Development at Sealution.

Peter Vuylsteke's education history begins in 1979 when they attended Sint-Lievenscollege in Ghent, where they studied Latin and Mathematics. Peter completed this program in 1985. Following this, they enrolled at Ghent University and pursued a Licentiaat degree in Business Economics, which they completed in 1989.

Continuing their education at Ghent University, Peter then pursued a Speciaal Licentiaat degree in Haven- en Maritieme Wetenschappen (Master of Science in Maritime Science) from 1989 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Vuylsteke has obtained several certifications.
