Matt Coury

Matt Coury has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt is currently working at GovOS as the President & COO, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at GovOS from July 2022 to January 2023 and as the Business Transformation Officer from January 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining GovOS, Matt worked at Vista Consulting Group as the Managing Director, Value Creation from January 2021 to January 2022, the Executive Director, Value Creation from January 2020 to January 2021, and as the Director, Value Creation from August 2018 to January 2020.

Matt's earlier experience includes various roles at The Boston Consulting Group. Matt worked as a Principal from March 2014 to August 2018, as a Project Leader from March 2012 to February 2014, and as a Consultant from March 2010 to February 2012. Additionally, they had a temporary role as a Summer Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in 2008.

Matt's career began with their involvement in social and educational initiatives. Matt served as a TEFL Volunteer for the Peace Corps from 2004 to 2006. Before that, they worked as a Teacher for Teach For America from 2002 to 2004. Matt'searly professional experience includes an internship at the Catholic Campaign for Human Development from 2001 to 2002.

Matt Coury has a diverse education history. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Georgetown University in 2002. In 2004, they pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, with a focus on Secondary Social Studies, at The Johns Hopkins University. Subsequently, they attended the University of North Carolina School of Law from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Juris Doctor degree. In the same period, from 2007 to 2009, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Additionally, they briefly studied at The American University in Cairo in 2000-2001, though the details of the degree obtained are unknown.
