Ciaran McAteer

Ciaran McAteer is a Cyber Security Specialist currently employed at Seapeak since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ciaran served as a Security Engineer at QuoteMedia, Inc. from January 2022 to September 2024, and worked part-time as an IT Support Engineer at Kingsbridge Healthcare Group from August 2019 to June 2021. Ciaran's early experience includes an internship as a Cyber Security Engineer at CME Group, where involvement in cyber defense, identity and access management, and web application penetration testing was gained. Ciaran started in the workforce as an Assistant Sales representative at Costcutter Supermarkets Group Limited from April 2014 to June 2018. Ciaran holds an MEng in Software and Electronic Systems Engineering with a focus on Computer Software Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, completed in 2021, and graduated from St. Louis Grammar School, Ballymena in 2016.
