Glenn Gregorio

Glenn Gregorio is a distinguished expert in plant breeding and genetics, currently serving as the Chairman of the CHEd Technical Panel for Agriculture and Director at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture. With over two decades of experience at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, they held multiple academic positions, including Professor of Crop Breeding and Genetic Resources. Previously, Glenn contributed as an International Research Fellow at the International Rice Research Institute and served in various leadership roles, including Senior Scientist and Deputy Head of the Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology Division. They hold a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of the Philippines and have been recognized as a 2021 UN Food Systems Summit Champion.
