At Searchlight Technology, our solution "Searchlight" connects conveyancing, legal, and real estate professionals with South Australian Councils, streamlining the processing and completion of Section 7, Section 187, community/strata searches, and pre-populated Form1 certificates.

Once an order is placed, Councils are immediately notified and payments are processed securely through Stripe. Required documents are uploaded to the portal and completed searches are delivered electronically to practitioners.

With Searchlight, practitioners can easily order pre-populated Form1 certificates and trust us to handle the data entry and statutory search orders. The completed Form1 is then accessible in REI Forms Live or AIC Forms Live, where practitioners can simply complete the questionnaire and sign off.

By registering once with Searchlight and providing business and credit card details, practitioners gain access to a single-entry interface for all Section 7, Section 187, and pre-populated Form1 searches from any Council. Payments are handled securely through Stripe, and receipts are automatically sent to practitioners on behalf of the council, eliminating the need for repeated credit card information entry.

Once a search is completed, Councils upload the results to the Searchlight platform in a standard format, and practitioners are notified via email that the documents are available for download. The Searchlight portal also stores completed search data, providing a record of searches completed by Council.
