Mark Heinkel

Mark Heinkel is the current Vice President of Finance at Searchspring. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance at Scaleworks from September 2019 to January 2021. Before Scaleworks, Heinkel was with Rackspace for over 9 years, from November 2009 to August 2019, where they started as a Manager of Finance and ended as a Senior Associate. Heinkel began their finance career at KPMG Audit from September 2006 to November 2009.

Mark Heinkel has a Master of Science in Accounting from Trinity University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University with concentrations in finance and accounting, and certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors in Certification in Risk Management Assurance and Certified Internal Auditor. Mark also has certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.

They are on a team with Ten Chu - VP of Product, Travis Wheeler - VP, Sales, and Will Warren - CTO. Mark Heinkel reports to Peter Messana, CEO.
