Markus Erbeldinger

Markus Erbeldinger currently serves as the Director of Product Development and Engineering at AMICO, a global leader in manufacturing various security and architectural products, since November 2025. Prior to this role, Markus held multiple positions at AMICO Perimeter Security, including Director of Product, Marketing & Engineering and Senior Product, Engineering and Marketing Manager, from April 2019 to November 2025. Additional experience includes a long tenure at FLIR Systems, serving as Product Manager and Senior Project Engineer, as well as a significant role as Senior Research Engineer at Agentase (now ICx Technologies). Markus began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a Ph.D. in Biotechnology at the University of Strathclyde, where also pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Supplementary experience as a Ski Instructor at Seven Springs Mountain Resort has been ongoing since November 2017.
