Michelle J.

Michelle J. has extensive experience in the field of sensory support and education, currently serving as the Head of Sensory Support (Outreach) QTMSI at Seashell since November 2017. Prior to this role, Michelle held positions including Sensory Team Manager MSI Specialist Teacher at Calderdale MBC from May 2005 to October 2017 and Lecturer/Tutor in Deafblindness (MSI) at the University of Birmingham from September 2009 to September 2016. Michelle’s earlier career includes roles as an MSI Consultant at Sense and Senior Teacher/Head of Department (MSI) at Whitefield Schools and Centre, as well as a teaching position at Goodmayes Primary School. Michelle's educational background includes a BA(Hons) with QTS in Education from the University of Durham and a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education and Teaching from Kingston University.
